Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

We enjoyed our lessons with Coach Riley! My husband and I were very impressed by how quickly she was able to teach our son to float and relax in the water. We highly recommend using her if you are looking for survival swim lessons for your child!

I would recommend Coach Riley! I had my daughter start at 3 yrs old. She was already nervous about being in the water but as time went on she ended up getting better each week! I love that itβs one on one and lessons are short and sweet! Will definitely enroll her again next year to keep improving and learn new swim skills!

I would highly recommend Ms. Riley for swim lessons! She is kind, patient, professional, and fun while also pushing her students to their limits. When my son started if he were to get in a pool he couldnβt get to a step. He now can jump in a pool, swim to the wall/step, float, dive for toys and most of all I have peace of mind that if he were to fall in a pool he could swim to the side. I am so happy we chose to go with Ms. Riley and I look forward to lots of swimming in the future!

I would highly recommend Miss/Coach Riley to all parents who are seeking water safety skills for their little ones. When I found out I was pregnant I knew at some point that I wanted my daughter to have the floating skill down before she could swim and had read other parents experiences with these types of courses. I put my daughter in Miss Riley's Safety Swim Course when she was 18 months old, and I am so thrilled with the results. She may have not loved going to the lessons and during them but after each one she was calm and okay and wanted to swim when we got home. The lessons were short but very effective at 10 minutes a day 4 days a week for 4 weeks. I know a lot of of parents are nervous about their children creating a negative experience with the water, but that wasn't the case for us, and not for many that I have read. She still loves the water and actually is bit more confident when we are in with her. Miss Riley also gave us the confidence to continue practices at home in our own pool. We still focus on telling her she isn't allowed in the pool without us and are diligent with watching and being with her, but if there were ever a split second she fell in or tried to jum

We had such an incredible experience with the Water Safe Modesto swim program and with Ms. Riley. She was incredibly kind, personable, and patient throughout the entire process. From day one, she made our child feel safe and supported while helping her build important life-saving water skills. Our daughter has always been confident in the water, but now she has the skills and knowledge to safely respond in situations that could truly save her life. What really stood out was how well Ms. Riley adapted each lesson to what our daughter needed on that day. She gave instructions in a way our 3-year-old could understand and was always willing to pivot and try a different approach when needed. The first week definitely started with some tears and uncertainty, but by the second week we saw such a huge shift in comfort and confidence during lessons. She was so excited for every class and was constantly talking about how much she loved her teacher. Watching her gain these valuable skills has been amazing, and we truly credit Ms. Rileyβs patience, encouragement, and expertise. We highly recommend it Water Safe Swim and Ms. Riley!
